Soccer Gets the Children and Adolescents out of the Off-sides Zone

In 2010, the Soccer World Cup will take place in  South Africa. A further reason for Power-Child e.V. to place the game of soccer football in the center of its educational work. On the field, social skills are communicated along with the game and in a setting loaded with fun. The soccer field in the middle of the POWER-CHILD CAMPUS reduces the initial anxieties of the children, adolescents and adults and makes possible a way to reach out to them while they play.

Fair Play on the Field and in Everyday Life

Power-Child e.V. will be carrying out its soccer program in close cooperation with South African physical education instructors. When children and adolescents learn to play by the rules, they have been shown to be more likely to behave in accordance with the rules of fairness off the field as well. Kicking the ball communicates to the children and adolescents a sense of success in their personality development, a sense that is often sadly lacking in other areas of the hometowns.
